Pool Closing.

• Inground pools with sump pumps, please begin to pump down 48 hrs before closing. We cannot close a pool with a significant amount of water in the sump well.
• Vacuum pool prior to closing. Cleaning your pool before closing will save you time when reopening it in the spring. We do not perform any vacuuming as part of our closing services.
• Drop-in steps and sand bags that hold steps in place need to be removed.
• At least one week before your scheduled closing date, please ensure that your pool water is fully balanced chemically. Water not properly balanced and left over during the winter months can cause liner fading, wrinkles, and staining.
• Please clean salt cell and cartridge filters. Salt cell and cartridge filters need to be stored indoors.
• Make sure all pool equipment, accessories and winter plugs are easily found for our crew to close your pool.
• Please ensure you leave out your hose and that your water and power are turned on at the back of your house.
• Please ensure Blue Diamond Pools has full access to your backyard. If any special gate code or access instructions are needed please notify us immediately.
• Note that IF any step specified above has been overlooked or missed Blue Diamond reserves the right to charge an additional service fee as required without notification to the client. Blue Diamond will perform the service call to the best of our ability excluding the overlooked items and full payment will still be charged.
• If your personal closing items are missing we will use what is available on your property only and what you have selected to purchase from our online form. Please ensure you have all sufficient equipment clearly left out for our staff, and have fully taken your time to thoroughly read through all our steps.
