Blue Diamond Pools President and Co-Owner Chase Mariano, began his journey into the pool industry at a young age. With family roots in construction, pool building and pool marbelite manufacturing, Chase learned many of the ins and outs of this specialized field through his family life.

Chase wasn’t always a pool builder, however. Initially, Chase’s love of cooking lead him to study the culinary arts. He even graduated from Humber College with honors and a full sponsorship from Oneida Flatware. However, as many come to find, not all enjoy their pastimes as their careers. An entrepreneur at heart, Chase decided instead to found a concrete installation business that quickly transformed into pool building in 2001.

Chase manages all company sales and corporate duties of Blue Diamond Pools & Landscaping. His upfront, honest and transparent business approach make him a trustworthy ally to all. His industry training includes everything from the concrete techniques area to pool mechanics diagnostics. The buildings of ecologically conscious pools are also in his scope of professional training.

Given Chase’s family background, it’s no surprise that concrete pools are his pool style of choice! Chase comes alive when designing the technical aspects of very complex custom poolscapes. Yet he finds pool restoration the most rewarding part of the company. Giving a timeworn concrete pool new life by restoring it to its former beauty again is the ultimate achievement of success! During these pool rebirths, he enjoys donning his work boots and jumping in to join his vital staff members to reconnect and perform marbelite magic.

In his free time, Chase enjoys the culinary arts, boating and family travel with his wife and baby daughter. He is active in the spreading of animal rights issues and also enjoys snorkeling and deep-sea fishing.
