I am currently in my ninth season with Blue Diamond Pools and Landscaping. I started out as a part time labourer in high school with the company and grew to love the industry and the team of guys I worked with. I am now in a supervisory role with the Blue Diamond Team and I have also been appointed as Safety Representative for the company this season.

My role as supervisor involves making sure that our job-sites and employees are working as efficiently and seamlessly as possible in order to maintain schedules and deadlines. I also take care of scheduling our sub trades such as concrete, gravel, gas technicians, electricians, and so on that are required to complete our projects. Lastly, dealing with clients questions, concerns, and project updates in order to make sure everything is coming together as they hoped and making sure they will be happy and love the finished project.

As appointed Safety Representative, our goal at Blue Diamond Pools is to be a zero incident company and ensure the safety of all our staff, customers, and community members throughout our season. We strive to be knowledgeable, aware, safe, and ensure proper work practices are met at all times.

My favourite part of the job is seeing backyards transform from nothing more than a hole in the ground to a backyard oasis you would never want to leave. Seeing the satisfaction of our customers after a job is completed is the greatest reward. A close second is working on concrete pool renovations and reviving a backyard from the 50’s into something more modern, updated, and enjoyable for the customer.

When I am not working, I enjoy family time with my wife, Sarah, and the newest addition to our family, our daughter Sophia. We enjoy walks at the waterfront, playing at the park, boating, and time with both of our families. It has been an amazing experience creating new memories and many firsts together.

I’ve enjoyed seeing the success of Blue Diamond Pools and Landscaping, as well as the continuous growth within our field of expertise and being a part of that over the years has proven to be rewarding.

I look forward to working with you in the future on your backyard pool project.

Chase wasn’t always a pool builder, however. Initially, Chase’s love of cooking lead him to study the culinary arts. He even graduated from Humber College with honors and a full sponsorship from Oneida Flatware. However, as many come to find, not all enjoy their pastimes as their careers. An entrepreneur at heart, Chase decided instead to found a concrete installation business that quickly transformed into pool building in 2001.
